- Without your consent, reading NaturalRefrigerants.com sets no cookies. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views and clicks without cookies. Google Analytics cookies are set only if you click Accept in the cookie banner; you can change that any time under “Cookie settings” in the footer. No advertising trackers.
- The only first-party cookies are the session cookies of newsroom staff who sign in to the back office — they are never set for visitors.

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognise you again — for example to keep you signed in. “Similar technologies” means other ways of storing data in the browser (local storage, session storage) and requests to third-party servers that can identify your browser. This policy covers all of them.
Cookies set by this site
Unless you accept analytics cookies, the public site — news, marketplace, partners, events, search and these pages — sets no cookies; it only remembers your cookie-banner choice in your browser’s local storage. Your language is part of the address (for example /es/news/), so no language cookie is needed. Page-view and click statistics (Vercel Web Analytics) are collected without cookies or browser storage — the visit is counted under a hash that is discarded within the day. If you click Accept, Google Analytics sets its cookies to measure visits; otherwise it sets none (Google’s “consent mode”: no analytics cookie and no advertising use). Before launch the site is protected by a password prompt (HTTP Basic Authentication). That is a browser credential, not a cookie, and it is removed at launch.
Third-party services and embeds
Some content is loaded from other companies’ servers. Each request tells that company your IP address and the page you are on; some of them also set their own cookies. The table lists every third party the browser contacts on this site.

Consent and your choices
Because the site sets no cookies of its own for visitors, there is no cookie banner. Third-party content that would set cookies (the Google Maps view on partner profiles) loads only when you choose to show it, and videos play in the providers’ privacy-enhanced modes.
Whatever the outcome, you can always block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site keeps working without them.
