01 Overview
E2639 is developed to deliver reliable refrigerant detection, including carbon dioxide (CO₂), ammonia (NH3), propane (C3H8) and other hydrocarbons (HC), in various applications: cold rooms, refrigerated counters, machinery rooms, freezers, and vent lines. The detector is equipped with RS485 Modbus RTU, two 4-20 mA outputs, and three SPDT relays for communication and controls. Depending on the version, a WiFi module for configuration and calibration, as well as easily replaceable pre-calibrated GSH Smart Sensor Modules, can be chosen.

E2639 gas detector is a new member of Evikon MCI multifunctional measurement instruments that can be used in both commercial and industrial refrigeration applications.
The instrument integrates electrochemical, semiconductor, catalytic, photoacoustic, NDIR, PID sensors to meet any market requirements.
All-in-one unit is developed for reliability, flexibility, and ease of use:
- RS485 digital interface with Modbus RTU protocol
- Two 4-20 mA analog outputs
- Three SPDT relays (2 for alarms, 1 for fault)
- Two 24 V outputs for the control of sirens and alarm modules
- Four LEDs and a buzzer for visual and audible alarms
- Optional WiFi for calibration and configuration
- Three M20 cable glands and duplicated terminals for easy mounting and cabling

Having M12 connector, E2639-GSH model is additionally compatible with
- Interchangeable, pre-calibrated GSH Smart Sensor Modules
- Optional remote probe with 2.5 or 5 meters cable length
