BIOMATIK – CO₂ Capture System

Biogas is the final product of plants powered by organic biomass, which, through fermentations carried out by anaerobic bacteria in an anoxic environment, produce a mixture mainly composed of methane, carbon dioxide, and hydrogen sulfide.

Subsequently, through liquefaction and purification processes, two marketable substances can be obtained from biogas: Biomethane and BioCO₂.

Biomatic system is capable of purifying CO₂ to Food Grade level, the degree of purity that allows CO₂ to be used in the food industry.

Strengths

Cold Management: In the process of CO₂ purification and liquefaction, proper cold management is essential, as it requires temperatures well below freezing. Thanks to our thirty years of experience in refrigeration, we have been able to develop a highly efficient system.

Use of Natural Refrigerants: Our machines have always used only natural refrigerants. Natural refrigerants, in fact, are the only ones with very low GWP and ODP, and, as a result, they are sustainable.

Tailor Made: All Zudek machines are always tailor-made for the customer. We always seek to identify the best solution for their needs by building customized machines.

Remote Monitoring: Biomatik is constantly monitored by our Telematik system. This allows for tracking the machine’s performance, enhancing its efficiency, and intervening promptly in case of malfunctions.

Rapid Chemical Analysis: Thanks to our team of experts, we can provide quick and accurate chemical analysis for all substances within the process.

Food Grade Certifications: Biomatik can purify CO₂ to Food Grade standards, the level of purity that allows CO₂ to be used in the food industry. With our analyses, we can also provide the necessary certificates for commercializing CO₂.
