ATMOsphere, publisher of NaturalRefrigerants.com, has announced that its ATMOsphere (ATMO) Australia Summit 2025 will be held on May 12–13, 2025, in Sydney. Registration for the conference will open soon.

This will be the first ATMO Australia held in five years, with the event taking place at the Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park. The two-day event will bring together leading local and international HVAC&R industry experts, policymakers, end users and contractors to explore the latest advancements in natural refrigerant-based solutions.

“ATMOsphere Australia 2025 will be our flagship international event in APAC with a strong focus on the most innovative refrigeration technologies and projects and emerging solutions for other heating and cooling sectors,” said Jan Dusek, ATMOsphere’s COO and Co-Founder.

The program will include insights into market and technology trends; the latest innovative technology solutions in industrial refrigeration, heat pumps and commercial HVAC; presentations from end users; updates on standards and regulations; engaging panel discussions; and more.

“ATMO Australia 2025 aspires to be the meeting place for domestic and international experts on a mission to advance all heating and cooling sectors with future-proof PFAS [per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances]-free solutions.”

Presentations and panel discussions will cover efficient and sustainable cooling solutions that use natural refrigerants such as CO2 (R744), propane (R290) and ammonia (R717), providing attendees with a comprehensive overview of technologies in the industry.

More than 50% of the program will be dedicated to emerging technology in commercial HVAC, data center cooling, heat pumps and chillers.

“Alternating with ARBS and organized every two years, ATMO Australia 2025 aspires to be the meeting place for domestic and international experts on a mission to advance all heating and cooling sectors with future-proof PFAS [per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances]-free solutions,” said Dusek.

Scantec Refrigeration Technologies, an Australian provider of centralized low-charge ammonia refrigeration systems, is the event’s platinum sponsor. Johnson Controls and MB Group are the gold sponsors. Silver sponsors are Automatic Heating Global, Conex Bänninger, GEA Refrigeration Australia and SCM Ref Australia. Bronze sponsors are Copeland, ISECO, Modine, Nihon Netsugen Systems and OLAB.

Sponsorship opportunities are still available, and companies and organizations interested in learning more can contact Dusek at jan.dusek@shecco.com.
